COMMISSION FOR STEWARDSHIP MINISTRY

FINANCE COMMITTEE

This committee meets to determine immediate and long-range needs of the parish and to advise in the raising of necessary funds.  They coordinate preparation of the annual budget.  They monitor the budget, present it to the Parish Council for approval and recommend a plan of action in financial emergencies.  This committee meets the third Tuesday of each month.

BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS

This committee identifies and implements maintenance and repair, as well as overseeing the selection of outside contractors to complete work that cannot be accomplished by members of the committee.  Meetings are scheduled as needed.

FUND RAISING – SPRING FLING AND FISH FRY

The Spring Fling Social is held each year and is a major fund-raising event. Many volunteers are needed to make this social a success.

The annual Fish Fry is held on the Friday evening preceding Good Friday.  It is open to the public and needs many volunteers to help set up, prepare and serve the food and to clean up.  The Fish Fry Planning Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the month beginning in January.

STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE

This committee seeks to bond together the parish family by promoting a sense of ownership and a stake in the parish mission through efforts to enlist parishioners to give not only of their treasures but volunteering their time and talents.  A major task of this group is to coordinate the Parish Stewardship and Archdiocesan United Catholic Appeal efforts.  The Committee meets the first Thursday of each month throughout the year.
